The Florida Department of Health in Volusia County is offering free, COVID-19 testing by appointment. To make an appointment, people should call the location where they’d like to be tested between 8 a m and 5 p m, Monday through Friday. Appointments are being scheduled through Aug.7.

Rent and mortgage assistance is available for Deltona families and individuals impacted by the coronavirus through loss of employment. Renters and homeowners can apply for assistance for payment of current and, if they remain eligible, future payments. To qualify, applicants must meet income eligibility requirements, the rent or mortgage must have been current as of March, and the dwelling must be in Deltona. Residents may complete the pre-screening questionnaire online at www dot Deltona f l dot gov to see if they qualify.
