Where can I go to get school supplies?

The City of Deltona Fire Department will alter this year’s annual Back to School event to be drive-thru only, from 8 to 11 a m, Saturday, Aug. 8.

This year’s event will be at the Dewey O. Boster Sports Complex, 1200 Saxon Blvd., Deltona. Vehicles will enter the park from Saxon Boulevard and exit onto Section Line Trail.

Where can I go for a free mask?

Votran has received 100,000 face masks, which staff has already begun distributing to riders and residents. These masks are available on buses and at Votran’s Transfer Plaza, 207 Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune Blvd., Daytona Beach; and the Votran administrative office, 950 Big Tree Road, South Daytona.

Do I need an appointment to get a covid 19 test?

The Florida Department of Health in Volusia County is offering free, COVID-19 testing by appointment. To make an appointment, people should call the location where they’d like to be tested between 8 a m and 5 p m, Monday through Friday. Appointments are being scheduled through Aug.7.
