How do I dispose of unwanted/expired prescription drugs?
You can drop them off at the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office, 1691 Providence Blvd., Deltona FL 32725.
How do I dispose of sharps (needles)?
Sharps can be dropped off at any City of Deltona Fire Station or Florida Department of Health location. Replacement sharps containers may be available at City of Deltona Fire Stations.
Will Waste Pro pickup old tires?
You may place up to eight passenger and truck tires per year at the curb for pick-up. Oversize truck tires require a special pickup and additional fees may apply. It is recommended that you call Waste Pro at (386)574-0778. You also have the option of taking four tires (without rims) to the West Volusia Transfer Station located at 3151 East New York Ave., Deland, FL 32724 on Saturday only. The station is open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, and from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturdays. For more information, call (386) 943-7899.
What do I do with used motor oil, paint or gasoline?
Waste Pro does not pick up hazardous materials such as motor oil, batteries, pesticides, gasoline, pool chemicals, paint or paint thinners. These are accepted at the West Volusia Transfer Station located at 3151 East New York Ave., Deland, The station is open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, and from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturdays. What if I am disabled and cannot get my bins to the curb?

What do I do with branches and limbs?
Branches or limbs should be bundled or placed in the garbage bin or another container. They should be cut to 4-feet long or less, not be greater than 6-inches in diameter and neatly piled at the curb on yard waste day only. You are allowed a maximum of 16 bags or bundles of yard trash.
Will Waste Pro pick up my real/live Christmas tree?
On yard waste day as long as it is free of tinsel and other decorations.
Will Waste Pro pick up my large cardboard boxes?
Large cardboard boxes will be collected and do not have to be broken down. They are considered bulk item.
